Anna Dvor was born in 1987 in Moscow.

In 2009–2015 she studied sculpture at the Surikov Art Institute (Art school). During this period she was awarded the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) Scolarship for Art students and won ARTikulation Art Prize for her installation «Сrooked mirror» as 2nd Best
art object for German Language and Culture.


Anna Dvor began to exhibit her works in 2014. Along with creating fine art objects after graduation she worked as window display designer, and later moved on to creating objects and props for window displays in her sculpture workshop.


In her art she has always explored the expressiveness of various materials and their combinations. Around 2018 she began to focus largely on asphalt and the topic of urbanite identity. Anna Dvor’s first solo show «Lanes and lines» took place in 2019 at MIZK Gallery in the Cube Artspace, Moscow. It was curated by Fiona Gikramina.


In 2020 Anna Dvor was in residency at Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris.

 

Currently artist works and lives in Moscow.
